Love That Grew in the Distance

Days turned into months, and somehow, we were loving from miles apart. I was always the one who believed long-distance never worked until I met him. Loving someone from a distance taught me something beautiful that love doesn’t need closeness to grow. It just needs patience, deep communication, and the true value of a person, even when they’re not beside you.

Our love grew through calls, late-night conversations, and learning more about each other every single day. Seeing his face on video calls became the best part of my routine and no day felt complete without it. He always admired me in the simplest ways, telling me he loved the mole above my lip and that it what made him fall in love with me me. And I loved everything about him the way he smiled, talked, laughed, and even how he looked while eating. I just wanted to see him, always.

Some days were filled with laughter, some with small arguments, but we never let a day end without fixing things. We learned from each other some big lessons, small lessons, . Especially me. I was a little dumb and sometimes, needing extra understanding, but he never got irritated. He patiently explained everything, even when I tried to annoy him.

Distance  taught us how to love deeper, listen better, and choose each other every day  even when miles stood between us. And somehow, that made everything feel even more real🤍
